ANTI-HAIL NETS: PROTECTION AND STABILITY FOR ORCHARDS

As part of this project carried out in 2024 for Canha AgroRural in Évora de Alcobaça, a protection system was installed that was designed to meet the specific needs of the apple orchard.

The netting creates a physical barrier over the crop, reducing the fruit’s direct exposure to hail. Correctly specifying the structure and the various fastening components is essential to ensure that the system remains functional and keeps pace with the orchard’s development.

A SOLUTION TAILORED TO FRUIT FARMING

Each project requires an analysis of the farm’s characteristics, from the layout of the land to the arrangement of the rows and the crop’s requirements.
